Having ridden out the three previous recessions, lead director, Chris Price MRICS considers the current climate and looks to the future,  giving his predictions of what is likely to happen in the property market over the next 24 months

 

A little light on the horizon

According to the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR), in their March update indicated “The economic and fiscal outlook has brightened somewhat since our previous forecast in November”  and The Bank of England now expects the economy to expand by 0.25% this year rather than contract and be 2% larger at the end of next year (2024).

So what does this mean for the property markets?
